5 Lines Fitness

Exercise with Intelligence

Learn a custom fitness routine based on the functional, whole-body exercises practiced by Japanese martial artists for centuries, and refined for your specific needs using Feldenkrais principles.

5 Lines Fitness promotes moderation, incremental gains, and a focus on feeling energized after each session rather than achievement of arbitrary extremes of exertion and muscle fatigue.

Class

1 hour experience

Price: $25

Maximum of 15 people per class

A 5 Lines Class is the lowest effort way to try out our offerings. You will do one lesson which is carefully selected for beginners.

Whether the class is in Feldenkrais or 5 Lines Fitness, you will experience how to use your body in an entirely new way in just one hour.

Brief Intensive

3 hour exploration

Price: $100

Maximum of 15 people per intensive

A 5 Lines Intensive provides you with a solid introduction. Participants will lie on mats on the floor (if you have difficulty getting up and down from the floor, contact us) and be verbally led through several movement explorations.

Facilitators will help you be comfortable, answer questions, and speak about what the Feldenkrais Method is and why it works to reduce pain and increase mobility.

Course

10 week commitment

Price: $400 - $600 (10 courses)

Maximum of three people per course

A 5 Lines Course consists of ten weekly sessions. Courses are limited to you and two others, so the practitioner can tailor the instruction to most benefit you.

In ten weeks, you will learn how you can change your unconscious movement habits to reduce pain, improve performance, and simply move in a freer and happier way.
